Newsletter writing – from patient safety to workplace safety

The thing I love most about writing is the opportunity to learn what other people do for a living. Newsletter writing has afforded me the chance to see what others are passionate about, what guided them into their various careers and how they fill their days.

I’ve interviewed anaesthesiologists who are experts in patient safety, physical therapists, nurses, CEOs, and academic administrators to name just a few. Each person has a story to tell, and I’m happy to have the opportunity to relay it.

Below are a few samples of my newsletter writing.

For the Saskatchewan Surgical Initiative:

For Safe Saskatchewan:

Barnes, J. (October 2012). Saskatchewan Health & Safety Leadership Charter Newsletter. (Online here).
